January - February

The start of the year can be very quiet in the local community, particularly in Port Eynon. A perfect time to visit any of our cottages to blow away the cobwebs.

Regardless of the weather our cottages offer a perfect retreat from it all.

March

There is always something to do in the gardens and as the weather starts to change you may be looking for Easter activities for the children.

Checkout Poundffald Farm (Facebook@GowerFreshChristmasTrees) located in Three Crosses.

April

By now the local community and campsites are getting ready to receive guests. You will find more open for eating out, takeaways or topping up on supplies.

RNLI lifeguards return to our beaches - Aberavon, Langland, Caswell, Three Cliffs & Port Eynon.

Adders! I was lucky enough to capture this one at the Worms Head. They really don’t want to bother you and if they see you coming, they will happily slide away. Not often seen but they are around. Please take care when walking with children or dogs through long grass areas.

May

April/May is a stunning time to be in the wooded areas in our local area. Blue Bells, wild garlic and much more to see. Areas around Parc Le Breos, Gower Heritage Centre, Bishopston Valley and the wooded walkway from Gower Heritage Centre to Three Cliffs Bay.
